With Summer and the World Cup fast approaching, the team here at Donnington Valley have been thinking about goals. What are you looking to achieve this Summer?

Vicki, 27
|
A relatively new member, Vicki plans on using the facilties at Donnington Valley Health Club and Spa to train for two forthcoming Race for Life events. She has done a Race for Life run before just for fun, but this year will be running in memory of a close family member who lost their battle with cancer early this year.
'I used to hate exercise,' she says, 'but once I found the right activity it changed my perspective. Rather than spend every night in the gym working to the same routine, I vary my weekly exercise to include classes and swimming, which keeps me more motivated.'

Luke, 31
|
One of our original Founder members, Luke has been a member at Donnington Valley since the health club and spa opened in 2006.
Luke is training for this year's Action Medical Research London to Paris Bike Ride, which takes place in late July and is building up his stamina in preparation for the gruelling daily miles.

Lindsay, 24
|
You may recognise Lindsay from the health club reception where she has been doing a few hours to help out. She is looking forward to tying the knot at Donnington Valley in August and is developing a fitness regime that ensures she will look perfect for her big day.
More concerned with toning than losing weight, Lindsay says, 'I just want to feel comfortable in my dress, so it's not about frantically dieting, just keeping everything trim and improving my fitness. Swimming is the best all-round exercise and is great for unwinding after a long day at work!'
